1. Not recorded as stolen
If it says "not recorded as stolen", it means that the car or thing has not been reported as stolen by the police or insurance companies.

2. Not an insurance write-off
This signifies that it has never been damaged to the extent that it was more economical for the insurance company to pay out the sum insured rather than restore it. It has also never been declared a "total loss" by an insurance company.

3. No outstanding finance
This means that the person selling or the current owner has paid off the asset in full. The lender does not own the vehicle or have any legal claim to it. The vehicle has no active loans, hire purchase agreements or unpaid debts secured against it.

4. Not recorded as scrapped
The absence of a record of a vehicle being permanently destroyed, crushed, or deregistered is indicated by the status "Not recorded as scrapped" on a vehicle history or DVLA vehicle check. A Certificate of Destruction has not been issued.
